After a combined 100 years generating revenue and increasing net asset value for national and multinational institutional firms, we decided it was time to truly embrace the talent and experience of our team members and bring the value to you.
The TB Group was formed with an intention to create or unlock value for our partners and clients, disrupt traditional management models, and realize the competitive advantage of being small and nimble. This allows us to provide a warmer and personalized approach than our competitor firms.
Terry Burka, Founder and CEO
Mr. Burka was born and raised in Washington DC. A graduate of Fishburne Military School, he began his career in Multi-Family Real Estate as a leasing agent in Washington DC. Shortly after he served in the US Army Infantry, active duty, as a Presidential security and ceremonial escort in the Honor Guard. In the Honor Guard, Mr. Burka held roles in the State Funeral of Ronald Reagan, The Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Spirit of America Productions, and was team leader of an immediate response combat unit serving the National Capital Region. Some of his military awards include Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Medal, German Armed Forces Badge.
Upon honorable discharge from the US Army, Mr. Burka relocated to Miami, FL. completing both Bachelors, and Master’s degrees, from Florida International University. He continued his career in Real Estate developing and executing operational strategies for a number of well-known public and private, boutique and institutional firms managing a career $8 billion of varied real estate assets. Most Recently he served as the Vice President, Asset Management for Mapletree Investments, a $40B Singaporean-based Real Estate Management and Investment firm. He later transitioned to Vice President, Property Management ultimately building the Property Management, Facility Management, and Procurement platforms for the US Management Company.
